Welcome to our new VP Research & Development
We are delighted to announce the arrival of our new VP Research & Development, Pierre Fridez. With over 20 years’ experience leading medical engineering projects and teams, Pierre is a true project and product man, always placing patients and users at the heart of his developments.
What sets him apart is his unique philosophy: he prefers to add complexity for engineers and production teams in order to simplify users’ lives and save them time. This user-centered approach is a testament to its commitment to improving patients’ quality of life.
Although neurotechnology is a new field for him, Pierre has already proved his ability to adapt and excel in a variety of environments during his previous experiences. He joins Dixi medical with the conviction that he can make a significant impact on the quality of life of our patients through ambitious developments.
As a talent and team developer, he has an exceptional ability to attract skills and build leading-edge engineering teams. He has successfully led several innovative medical device projects, and managed product engineering departments internationally.
With expertise covering all stages, from initial research to manufacturing, Pierre has obtained numerous CE markings and FDA approvals. A prolific inventor, he holds over 40 patents and has authored or co-authored over 35 scientific publications.
We are convinced that Pierre’s expertise and vision will be invaluable assets for Dixi medical, and we look forward to the contributions he will make to our future developments.
